Skink Oracles, creatures with a fragment of the slann’s foresight, ride into battle astride huge beasts known as Troglodons. These massive reptiles scent out their prey with venom-flecked tongues, sensing and destroying with their deadly spittle, while their riders use their gifted abilities to sense magic as others might feel a breeze upon their face. Thus blessed, they endeavour to protect their brethren from hostile sorcery.
Untameable beasts, only a Skink Oracle can approach a Troglodon without being immediately attacked and they can immediately tame the huge creature which they will then adorn with precious metals and gems. The Troglodon will never abandon its new master.
