His battle brothers follow him without hesitation, believing that wherever Helbrecht goes, the Emperor's shadow follows.

Additional information
Born on the world of Sigismund. From an early age, he showed his loyalty to the Emperor and
the ideals of the Space Marine orders. Helbrecht was accepted into the Brotherhood of the
Sword for killing a warp-spawned vampire who had taken power and seized the hive world of
Tcephian IV. During his ten-year service in the Crusade of Marshal Daidin, Helbrecht took
the second step towards the top of the hierarchy in the Order. After the death of the
current Marshal Daidin on the battlefield, Helbrecht, as one of the esteemed veterans of
the Brotherhood of Swords, assumed the title of Marshal and continued leading the Crusade.
The highest title in the Order's hierarchy was bestowed upon Helbrecht upon the death of
his predecessor, High Marshal Kardel, who fell at the hands of an enraged Chaos Champion.
In the year 989 of the forty-first millennium, following the conquest of the Xenarchs from
the Sigilate Nebula, he was unanimously appointed by the Council of Marshals as Kardel's
successor.
During the Third War on Armageddon, Helbrecht almost immediately united and led all the
Astartes forces in the system for space combat. His invaluable experience in commanding
large naval formations played a crucial role in his leadership. Helbrecht personally led
several assaults on the orc "Hulks", which, with the help of Admiral Parol, allowed him
to turn the tide of the battle and gain a strategic advantage. This resulted in significant
damage to the orcs and effectively halted the invasion. After Ghazghkull supposedly escaped
the system, Helbrecht made a vow to pursue the ork for the rest of his life. The hero of
Armageddon, Commissioner Yarrick, also wanted to join the gathering pursuit of the orc
warboss.
