Fellgor Ravagers are a cut above their Beastmen herd-fellows, boasting superior hunting skills, greater strength and even more formidable endurance. Having won a level of prestige among their kind, they are convinced that the gods favour them, rendering them even more ardent worshippers of Chaos.
The Fellgor Ravagers are a notable Beastmen tribe who live aboard the Gallowdark, scavenging its technology and hunting and killing anything they can track down for the Dark Gods.[1] Their raiding herds believe they are the strongest of the many Beastmen tribes that have called the warped hulls of the space hulk home for centuries.
Additional information
Fellgor Ravagers are ill-disciplined brutes who follow only the strong. They constantly fight amongst themselves when not on the hunt or at war. Their herds are merely a grouping of warriors led by a powerful Beastlord.
They have superior hunting skills, strength and endurance compared to other Beastmen, and are convinced that the gods of Chaos favour them. They possess an advanced human cunning and a greater intelligence than many of their fellows. Like all Beastmen, they possess keen senses, but their warp-enhanced abilities are sharper than those of their lower kin.
In battle, Fellgor Ravagers favour crude weaponry - basic firearms and grenades along with heavy bludgeons, whirring chainswords or sharp cleavers.
Worshiping the Dark Gods primarily in their aspect as primordial annihilators, the Fellgor Ravagers pride themselves on raw physical power, detesting most technology as an unholy, weakening influence.
More technical-minded Beastmen, such as Toxhorns, might make use of pox grenades or other mechanisms to achieve their goals. Hukr Blighthorn is one such Fellgor Ravager Toxhorn.
They wear nothing resembling a uniform. Their matted furs are often black, grey or brown, though some use crude dyes to change this, or become brightly coloured and patterned as a result of mutation. Others smear blood, oils or rust over their bodies, giving themselves an even more fearsome appearance.
Fellgor Ravagers take great pride in their horns. Each warrior's are unique, and every Beastman chooses to treat their own differently. They might shape their horns to achieve a certain aesthetic outcome, perhaps to crudely replicate the symbol of a particular Chaos God. They might also sharpen their horns, cake them in blood, carve dark oaths into them or paint them. They may also nail sheets of metal to their horns making them more resistant to blows, but also capable of piercing both armour and flesh.
